Here’s a great pic from our latest digital signage project in Singapore at a new retail space. The digital signage solution uses Intel’s innovative, cutting-edge Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) technology, which allows for standardised PC-based players to slot directly into the back of the digital display screens. With an OPS system, instead of needing to extend video signals from players to far-off screens either with long cables or expensive video extenders, the screen and player can be connected directly to the LAN in a drastically simplified network topology. Stay tuned for more pics.
Why use digital signage for the retail industry in Singapore
There are several reasons why digital signs are used in retail:
Eye-catching: Digital signs use bright colors, dynamic images, and videos to grab customers’ attention, making them more likely to notice and remember products.
Flexibility: Digital signs can be quickly and easily changed, allowing retailers to update pricing, promotions, and other information in real-time.
Cost-effective: Digital signage can reduce the need for printed materials, such as posters and flyers, saving retailers time and money.
Increased engagement: Interactive digital signs can encourage customers to interact with products and provide valuable feedback to retailers.
Analytics: Digital signage can be integrated with data analytics tools, allowing retailers to track customer behaviour, measure the success of promotions, and optimise store layouts.
